The performance is going to take place on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14. On both evenings, the house opens at 8:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. CT) and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. CT). If you plan on having the meal as well…that will be at 7:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. CT).
I’ve enjoyed the shows that I’ve attended at Lincoln Amphitheatre so far this year. Macbeth is the last play of the year. The next event will be the Trail of Terror and then the season will wrap up and end.
I’ve never before been to a Shakespeare play. This is definitely going to be a new thing for me. I know the basics of Macbeth from school, but even that’s a little bit fuzzy to me. So it’ll almost be like seeing something completely unknown. Of course…reading a play is different from actually seeing it. Seeing a play gives it so much more substance than reading a play does. At least, that’s my opinion.
I’m excited to go and see Macbeth at Lincoln Amphitheatre this weekend. I absolutely love going to the Amphitheatre, and just the fact that’s it’s a Shakespeare play makes me even more excited.
