Jasper Police Investigating Two Residential Burglaries

The Jasper Police Department is investigating a second home burglary last week that occurred on Friday sometime between 7:30 am and 3:15 pm in the 400 block of West 9th Street.

The homeowners reported to police that a Laptop computer, Sony Play Station game system, and Xbox game system, two game controllers along with an assortment of games were taken.

Another residential burglary took place on Tuesday around 12:25 pm on Dewey Street on Jasper’s east side.

Taken in that burglary were a 40 inch flat screen TV, electronic equipment, several play station games along with an undetermined amount of change.

The Community Strike Force Against Crime is offering a $1,500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these burglaries.

Meanwhile, Jasper Police are still looking for a stolen jeep:

Jasper Police Department issued a dispatch Wednesday morning to all law enforcement agencies on a Jeep that was stolen sometime Tuesday night.

Jasper Police told WITZ News that a yellow 2007 Jeep Wrangler with a black top was taken from the 400 block of Herbig Lane after 8 pm Tuesday night.

The plate number on the Jeep is 1278633.  The front has a vanity plate that says “Greg and Crystal.”
