Hurricane Relief: Dubois County Drop-Off Locations Open

COUNTY WIDE —  Dubois County is coming together to help the victims of hurricane Harvey along the Texas Gulf coast.

Drop off locations have been set up across Dubois County for people to send much needed items to hurricane survivors.

There are several ways you can help.  First, the American Red Cross says, “The Red Cross has a massive relief response underway and needs financial donations to be able to provide immediate disaster relief. Help people affected by Hurricane Harvey by visiting www.redcross.org, calling 1- 800-RED CROSS or texting the word HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation.”

The following items are being collected for hurricane victims.  These items can be dropped off at multiple locations around Dubois County….

  • Bottled Water
  • Baby items: Diapers, wipes, Desitin, A&D ointment, powder, formula, bottles
  • Personal hygine items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, feminine products
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Blankets / Pillows
  • Air Mattresses
  • Non-Perishable Food items
  • Trash bags
  • Socks & Underwear
  • Insect repellent
  • Plastic storage bins: Medium and large
