Huntingburg Herbstfest

The Huntingburg Herbstfest is one of the first festivals in Dubois County that I went to last year when I first moved here.I had an absolute blast and I’m looking forward to the chance to go to the Herbstfest again this year.

I personally really enjoyed the flea market and craft show bit…but I’m always up for any sort of flea market or community yard sale. I enjoy those kinds of things, which I think is a big part of why I enjoyed the Herbstfest so much last year. I spent a lot of time in the flea market area and managed to go home with some pretty nice things. So I’m definitely looking forward to see what this year has to offer in the craft show and flea market area.

That’s not saying I’m only going to spend time there. I want to look around at everything that I can and take in a few of the shows too. There are going to be some really amazing performances, including Kirby Stailey and Danielle Lee, as well as the annual Outhouse Races, and so, so much more.

As usual, I want to make sure you know whats going to be happening and when, so I’ve provided a Huntingburg Herbstfest Schedule below:

Thursday, September 26

  • 5 p.m. — Craft Show/Flea Marktet begins in the Main Shelter House
  • 5 p.m. — Food Booths and Carnival Rides Open on the Midway
  • 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. — Music by Overdrive Midway Stage
  • 6 p.m. — Beer Garden Opens Beer Garden/Midway (Requires a Herbstfest Button)
  • 6 p.m. — Flip-N-Twist Performance Main Stage (Required a Herbstfest Button)
  • 7:30 p.m. — Huntingburg’s Got Talent Main Stage (Requires a Herbstfest Button)
  • 9:30 p.m. — Beer Garden, Activities, and Booths Close

Friday, September 27

  • 4 p.m. — Craft Show/Flea Market begins Main Shelter House
  • 5 p.m. — Food Booths and Carnival Rides Open Midway
