Huntingburg Street Superintendent Jason Stamm reported to the Board of Public Works and Safety in their monthly meeting this morning that the City lost money again on the City Clean Up days.
Stamm says the City is offering a good service, but in turn, the City is losing money on the effort:

Stamm also reported to the Board that some streets in Huntingburg need to be re-classified based on use. Stamm says that the City is losing out on federal dollars by having streets classified incorrectly:
Also in this morning’s meeting, Mayor Denny Spinner talked about the Inaugural Dubois County Youth Triathlon that will be held at Huntingburg City Park Saturday, July 27th.
Spinner reports that the triathlon is for children ages 6 through 14 and will consist of swimming, biking and running. It is a USAT sanctioned even and is included in the Seymour and Columbus Indiana Youth Triathons.
