Holland Has New Familiar Town Marshall

Holland has a new Town Marshall and he’s no stranger to the area.

Retired Huntingburg Police Chief Ron Drew has accepted the position that was vacated by former Town Marshall Josh Hemmer’s departure to Huntingburg as a patrol officer.

Holland Town Council President Tom Thacker told WITZ News that Drew will be working 25 hours per week in his new position.

The addition of Drew was complimented by the choice for a Deputy Town Marshall, Paul Voegerl, Jr., a five-year resident of the Town.

Thacker reports that that Voegerl will work 20 hours per week, so having both new Marshall’s will give the Town sufficient coverage for the safety of the Town.
