Holland Community Fest

The Holland Community Fest starts tonight!

Like all of the amazing festivals that happen in and around Dubois County, there are tons of different events that are going to be going on. The Holland Community Fest will be tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday. Three days of amazing fun!

I don’t believe I attended this festival last year…so that means I’m going to do everything in my power to go this year and see what it’s all about.

While I don’t know much about it…I do, at the very least, have a schedule of events and whatnot. So here it is. Just for you, a schedule of events you have to look forward to during the Holland Community Fest this year:

Friday, September 13

  • 5 p.m. — Food & Games Booths Open at Holland Park
  • 5 p.m. – Midnight — Beer Garden is Open at the Holland Park Tennis Court
  • 6 p.m. — Full out Tumble and Cheer at the Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 7 p.m. — Little Miss & Mister Contest and the Junior Miss Contest at the Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 8 p.m. – Midnight — DJ – Live Wire at the Beer Garden Stage

Saturday, September 14

  • 7 – 9 a.m. — Breakfast available at the Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 8 a.m. — 5K Walk/Run at the Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 9 a.m. — Registration for the Chili Cook Off
    • 1 p.m. — Judging for the Chili Cook Off (Chili Cook off takes place at the Small Shelter House)
  • 9 a.m. — Food & Game Booths Open at Holland Park
  • 10 a.m. — Dog Show at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Micro Chipping Service for Dogs at Happy Tails Booth
  • 10:30 a.m. — Registration for Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby
  • 11 a.m. — Start of Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby (Wiffle Ball Derby takes place at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium)
  • 12:30 p.m. — Kiddie Tractor Pull at Holland Park
  • 1 p.m. — Registration for Corn Hole Tourney
  • 2 p.m. — Start of Corn Hole Tourney (Takes place at Holland Park Softball Field)
  • 4 – 7:30 p.m. — Danielle Lee performs on Beer Garden Stage
  • 4p.m – Midnight — Beer Garden Open at Holland Park Tennis Court
  • 4 p.m. — Registration for Keg Toss
  • 5 p.m. — Start of Keg Toss (Takes place at Holland Park Volleyball Court)
  • 6 p.m. — Golf Cart Parade at Holland Park
  • 6:30 p.m. — Chili Cook off Winners Announced at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 8 p.m. – Midnight — DJ Live Wire at Beer Garden Stage
  • 9 – 11 p.m. — Teen Dance for Ages 12 – 18 featuring the Montry Band at Holland Park Large Shelter House

Sunday, September 15

  • 10 a.m. — Community Church Service at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 11 a.m. — Dinners served by Holland Legion at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 11 a.m. — Food & Game Booths Open at Holland Park
  • 11:30 a.m. — Cash Raffle Winners Announced at Hank & Eloise Henke Stadium
  • 12 p.m. — Bingo – Cash Prizes.
  • Roger Stuckey 9am-2pm
