A Grand Re-Opening for the Habitat ReStore will take place this Saturday, in conjunction with the ground breaking of the 12th Habitat Home in Dubois County.
We spoke with Habitat for Humanity’s Melissa Baxter who told us that interest is very high right now:
Both events – the Grand Reopening of the ReStore and the ground breaking for the 12th Habitat Home will take place this Saturday at 4232 South CR 170 East, just north of Bretzville, on the east side of SR 162, near the 4H Fairgrounds.
The ReStore Grand Reopening begins at 9:00 am, a cook-out will start at Noon sponsored by UPS, there will be a live band, balloon artists, face painting and games.
The ground breaking for the new Habitat Home will take place at 3:00 pm.
Baxter says that the new ReStore location will have three times as much space for the retail side of the organization, which provides money to fund their operations and the building of houses.
