Bomb Threat at Forest Park Jr. Sr. High School

WITZ News heard Dubois County dispatch just before 11 am send out a message on a bomb threat this morning at Forest Park Jr. Sr. High School.

Ferdinand Police, Indiana State Police and Dubois County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the scene along with Ferdinand Fire and Rescue units.

Police evacuated the students from the building to the YMCA building.

Our news gathering partner, Matt Crane with the Dubois County Free Press reported after 11:30 from the scene that the room-by-room search of the building was called off for a bomb in the facility.

Southeast Dubois School Superintendent then issued this statement to the press:
