Jasper City Council Approves First Reading of Water Rate Increase

Monday night, the Jasper Utility Service Board voted to approve the recommendation by the Water Committee to increase water rates to Jasper customers by 17 percent – an increase of around $6.00 per month for the average residential customer. Grandchild Scam Averted in Dubois County

Dubois County Sheriff Deputy Sergeant Stuart Wilson reports Wednesday that two Huntingburg residents received phone calls claiming that their grandson was in trouble in Mexico for drug possession and needed money to bail him out.
