A mass of Christian burial for 77 year old Rita Lannan of Loogootee will be held Tuesday at 10 am at St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4 until 8 pm Monday at the Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
A graveside service for 83 year old Billie Hamilton of Marana, Arizona, formerly of Augusta, will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Augusta Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Nass & Son is in charge of all arrangements.
A funeral service for 84 year old LaVerne Meyer of Huntingburg will be held Monday at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 7 pm Sunday at the Nass & Son Funeral Home with a rosary prayer service at 3:30 pm.

The Jasper City Council handled several ordinances during Wednesday night’s meeting.
