This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following stations:

WITZ, WITZ-FM, Jasper, Indiana and WQKZ-FM Ferdinand, Indiana.

For the purpose of this Report, a vacancy was deemed "Filled" not when the offer was extended but when the hiree accepted job offer. A person was deemed "interviewed" whether he or she was interviewed in person and/or over the telephone.

OUTREACH DISSEMINATION POLICY:

Broadcast Compliance Services, web posting, over-the-air announcements, educational institution notification, station personnel referrals, local minority organization notification and Industry specific publications and institution notification.

RECRUITMENT ORGANIZATIONS: During the last year WITZ AM/FM or WQKZ-FM had one fulltime job vacancy open on 12/5/07 for a News Director. The position was filled with a new hiree on 2/24/08. Broadcast Compliance Services was notified and all notifications were sent generating eighteen applicants for the position.

04/01/07 The job vacancy outreach notification request continues to air weekly on WITZ AM/FM & WQKZ-FM

07-19-07 2007 Indiana Black Expo Job Fair attended by Earl Metzger. Certificates of participation.

09-20-07 RAB Skill Set Enhancement Program presented by the Indiana Broadcasters Association. Attended by Gene Kuntz, Jeri Weisheit, Walt Ferber and Chris James.

10-25-07 IBA Co-sponsored Broadcaster Job Fair attended by Earl Metzger. Certificates

12-7-07 Job vacancy for a News Director position became open. Recruitment resources were notified through Broadcast Compliance Services, on-air broadcasts, website Employment page as well as direct contacts. 12-12-07 Gene Kuntz conducted a job shadow with Clay McConnell. Letter of appreciation.

01-02-08 WITZ AM/FM began airing the IBA Scholarship Program opportunity for College & High School students pursuing a career in the Broadcast Industry. Certificates of Participation for the 2008 program will follow.

02-01-08 WITZ AM/FM & WQKZ-FM started airing the IBA Job Fair that will be held February 23, 2008 in Indianapolis. The event was attended by Earl Metzger, President/GM. Certification of the Co-sponsored Broadcaster Job Fair were received.
